This policy explains what information D&S Tech LLC ("we", "us") collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you send a message through the contact form or the project planner, we store what you enter — your name, email address and, if you provide them, phone number, company, budget range, the kind of project and your message — together with the date and the IP address the request came from. We use the IP address only to fight spam and abuse.
When you browse
Our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser, requested page, time) for security and troubleshooting. They are rotated automatically.
Cookies and local storage
- Essential cookies — a session cookie and a security (CSRF) token that make forms work. They are required and are not used to track you.
- Your preferences — if you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- Analytics — only if listed under "Services that process data for us" below. If we use Google Analytics, it runs only after you click "Allow analytics", and you can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the project.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful (only where analytics is enabled).
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation or project, and deleted on request. Our backups are rotated automatically and the oldest are removed on a fixed schedule, so deleted data disappears from backups within that cycle.
Where it is stored
This website and its database run on servers we operate in the United States. Some of the services listed below may process data in other countries under their own safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights under local law; we will honour those requests too. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children
This site is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
